LET ME INTRODUCE MYSELF

I am a nutritional therapist, trained across multiple areas of health, with a strong focus on digestive and hormonal health. I work with wonderful people from England, France, Belgium, and other countries, as my consultations are available online.

My approach is holistic; by viewing the body as an interconnected system, I can identify connections between various ailments and offer comprehensive solutions that promote the restoration of optimal well-being.

Recently graduated after an intensive three-year course of study at the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London, my passion for nutritional therapy is deeply rooted in my personal experience. For many years, I dealt with health challenges that significantly impacted my quality of life. I struggled with persistent digestive issues and severe hormonal imbalances, including a three-year absence of menstrual periods and a diagnosis of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). Conventional pharmaceutical solutions were limited, and sometimes, there were simply no options available.

Today, with both personal experience and professional training, I am dedicated to supporting others in achieving optimal balance and vitality through a personalized approach to health.

My background

After over three years as a corporate lawyer in Brussels and London, my passion for nutrition and health gradually took precedence over my legal career.

Even while practicing law, I consistently dedicated my free time to exploring alternative health solutions. Weekends were often spent training in “l’Alimentation vivante” with Véronique Taburiaux, founder of the EAVD in Belgium (Ecole d’Alimentation Vivante & Durable). I also immersed myself in yoga and Ayurveda in India, further expanding my understanding of holistic health approaches.

The pandemic marked a turning point, prompting me to fully transition into nutritional therapy. My first step was a nutrition course at Le Cordon Bleu in London, a prestigious French institution that provided a strong foundation in nutrition. This experience prepared me for more specialized training at the CNM (College of Naturopathic Medicine) in London.

CNM is renowned for its rigorous programs in natural medicine, combining both theoretical and practical learning. I spent over three years studying nutritional therapy there, including a year focused on biomedicine. This comprehensive training offered a deep understanding of the human body and allowed me to adopt a holistic approach to health. It taught me to view nutrition as a vital tool for preventing and managing health issues.

My career shift was fueled by a firm belief that many common health complaints should not be accepted as normal and that restoring vitality is essential for living fully. My own health journey, marked by times when I was not always heard and had to seek solutions independently, reinforced this conviction. Through extensive research and perseverance, I overcame my health challenges - an experience that now drives my commitment to helping others do the same. These personal experiences have given me profound insight into the difficulties of reclaiming one’s health, and I firmly believe that with the right support and tools, overcoming these challenges is entirely possible.

Keys to health

Holistic approach

Health cannot be understood in isolation. The human body is complex, and every issue should be examined within a broader, interconnected context.

Collaboration across various disciplines - such as conventional medicine, osteopathy, psychology, herbal medicine, acupuncture, and others - enables a more comprehensive and nuanced approach to health.

With science and our understanding of the human body continually evolving, access to multiple professional perspectives greatly enhances patient care.

Take ownership

Taking ownership of your health is one of the most empowering decisions you can make. It means becoming actively involved in understanding your body, your needs, and the factors that influence your well-being.

By taking charge, you move from being a passive recipient of care to someone who proactively seeks out the best solutions for your health. This includes making informed choices about nutrition, lifestyle, and treatment options, and working collaboratively with healthcare professionals to tailor an approach that suits you as an individual.

True health ownership is about recognizing that you are the expert of your own body and embracing the responsibility to nurture and care for it.

Long-term vision

Nutritional therapy is not about finding a quick fix; it is about embracing a long-term commitment to your health and well-being.

True transformation takes time, patience, and consistency. Rather than relying on short-term solutions, nutritional therapy focuses on creating sustainable changes that support your body’s natural healing processes. It is about developing a vision of your best self and working toward that with balanced, holistic strategies that address not just symptoms but the root causes of health issues.

By focusing on long-term goals, you can cultivate lasting vitality, energy, and resilience, unlocking your full potential and creating a healthier, more vibrant future.

My vision of nutrition

“Let food be thy medicine, and medicine be thy food”, Hippocrate (460 BC)

There is no one-size-fits-all approach to eating; each person should adopt dietary habits that align with their unique needs and lifestyle.

For me, the goal is to feel good in both body and mind, fueling myself in a way that allows me to live life to the fullest. I believe in feeling energized, empowered, and capable of doing everything I desire because my body is well-nourished and functioning at its best.

Finding joy in food is essential, along with being honest with ourselves about what truly supports our well-being and what doesn’t.

Listening to our bodies and eating with the intention of nourishment are key. The ultimate aim is to provide our bodies with the right fuel so we can approach each day with strength and vitality, rather than feeling weighed down.
